In Q2 2023, the food delivery sector in Kenya saw significant activity on the Android platform. Here’s a detailed look at the performance of the top 5 food delivery apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Glovo: Food Delivery and More experienced a varied trend in weekly downloads. Starting with around 7.4K downloads at the end of March, the numbers saw a slight decline through April, stabilizing around 6.3K by the end of June. Active users fluctuated but generally maintained a solid base, peaking at approximately 132.8K in the last week of June.

Jumia Food: Food Delivery showed a steady rise in weekly downloads towards the end of the quarter. Downloads increased from 5.4K in late March to a peak of 7.1K in the final week of June. Weekly active users displayed a consistent upward trend, growing from around 57.2K to 61.9K over the quarter.
